Complete your smile with a natural-looking implant restoration
If you have a dental implant, or you are planning to get one, dental implant restoration at Desert Willow Dental in Glendale, AZ is the next step toward a complete smile. The restoration is the visible part of your implant. It is the custom-made crown, bridge, or denture that attaches to the implant post. It is what people see when you smile, and what you use every day to eat and speak.
Dr. Crane has advanced restorative training and is CEREC certified. Dr. Pharo brings patient-focused, compassionate care to every visit. Our goal is a result that looks natural and feels comfortable.

What is dental implant restoration?
A dental implant has two main parts. The first is the implant post, which is placed surgically into the jawbone by an oral surgeon or periodontist. The second is the restoration, which is the replacement tooth that attaches to that post.
Desert Willow Dental focuses on the restoration side. Once your implant has healed and integrated with the bone, our team designs and places the final restoration. If you still need surgical placement, we can coordinate with a specialist so your care stays organized.
Depending on your needs, your restoration may be a single dental crown, a dental bridge for several missing teeth, or dentures supported by implants.

The implant restoration process
Here is what to expect once your implant has healed:
- Evaluation. Your dentist checks the implant, takes X-rays, and captures impressions or digital scans.
- Abutment. A small connector piece, called an abutment, is placed on top of the implant if it is not already in place.
- Custom restoration. Your crown, bridge, or denture is made to match your tooth color and bite. CEREC technology may support digital planning.
- Placement. The restoration is attached to the abutment and checked for fit, comfort, and appearance. We make any needed adjustments so it feels right.
